Doors that close, latch, and look finished
Sticking doors, loose handles, worn hinges, slamming closers, and cabinet hardware swaps. Lock work is offered only where licensing allows.

Doors that stick in summer, won't latch in winter, or slam in the hallway are usually a 45-minute fix: planing, shimming hinges, adjusting the strike plate, or replacing worn hardware. Cabinet knobs and pulls are installed with a jig for consistent placement.
Keyed locks and deadbolts are regulated in New York City, where a DCWP locksmith license is required to install or service locks. Until that licensing is confirmed, we offer non-keyed hardware swaps only and refer lock work to licensed locksmiths. Battery and wireless video doorbells are fine; hardwired doorbells are electrical work and are referred to a licensed electrician.
